Born in East Yorkshire, Adam began cooking at an early age and always thought opening restaurant would be a nice thing to do! Having cooked extensively in London, France, under fellow Yorkshire man Richard Guest at the Castle in Taunton and in Australia, Adam and Lovaine took the plunge in 2005 to see if his hunch was right, and so Arras was born.

Adam works daily in the Arras kitchen baking the bread and developing new dishes with the team to push Arras forward, whilst still working closely with Lovaine to further develop the ‘Arras Style’.

Outside of Arras, Adam can be found amongst his new found love of gardening, possibly down the boxing gym perfecting his jab-cross combination or when it’s football season barracking for his beloved (if not brilliant) Hull City.
