So, after some deliberation, we have decided to move our restaurant operations to a shorter week from August 11, 2021
To ensure a better work life balance for our team and to ensure we can take Arras to where we want it to go, and still refine our product, these will be our new opening hours:
Lunch Wednesday to Saturday from 12pm
Dinner Wednesday to Saturday from 6pm

As is usual at Arras, we have taken the decision to continue our Annual Summer Closure.
Arras will close, with our last service being Dinner on July 24. We will reopen for trade for Dinner on August 11.
In the interim, we have close to no availability on Fridays or Saturdays up to when we close, and very little through the week at Dinner. This is obviously due to reduced capacity with current guidelines. We hope to be able to open up more tables as the guidelines permit.

The Arras Team
We’ve been in Peasholme Green for 4 years, and now is the time for us to change things up a little!
Just before we open to the public again we are going to have a litte spruce up! They be a redecoration and new art! Yep, that!
We’ll be re-addressing our bar area, to make it more comfortable. We’ll also reposition the food that Arras has become renowned for and endeavour to make it better and more delicious! A more interesting wine and beverage list will develop too.
Whilst the majority of this will take place before we reopen, we will be constantly making small improvements over the coming months.
We hope you’ll join us for the ride!
After a difficult and unpredictable last twelve months, we are now in a position to announce our reopening details and our exciting plans for Arras moving forward.
We will reopen for service on the evening of Friday May 21, 2021 and proceed as normal with our opening hours being;
Lunch – Wednesday to Saturday from 12pm
Dinner – Tuesday to Saturday from 6pm
These timings and opening hours may change as guidelines or business changes, but we will keep you updated.
At present all reservations are to be made via email to reservations@arrasrestaurant.co.uk , we will endeavour to offer your first choice reservation request, but please be understanding if this is not possible.
Please also understand that during these difficult and limited times, we may not be able to cater to all dietary requirements.
As we always do, we will close for our annual summer closure with Dinner, Saturday July 24 2021 being our final service and we will return for Dinner on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.

We can now confirm that the restaurant will be reopening from Wednesday 26th August.
We will be operating on a booking only policy. To book your table please contact us on reservations@arrasrestaurant.co.uk
Please be aware that at present we will be accepting bookings of up to 4 guests, however, we will update our policy as the guidelines evolve over the next few weeks.
Thank you for the support many of you have given ourselves and Little Arras during this time and we look forward to welcoming you back.
We are still closed as per Government regulations.
We still have no idea when we may be able to reopen, and we will only do so when we feel it is safe enough for both staff and customers alike, regardless of being given the green light.
We have opened the bakery though, and we want to thank you for your support at Little Arras on Goodramgate. Following us on Instagram @littlearras will give you an idea of what’s happening! We are running reduced opening hours during the Lockdown of Tuesday to Saturday 9am until 3pm. But do visit us for bread and cakes and coffee!
In the meantime, please look after yourselves and we’ll see you at Arras when we can finally reopen the doors.

In light of recent events regarding Coronavirus, we wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that although confusing and no doubt debilitating for the hospitality industry we remain forward thinking and resolute.
We will continue to be open to those who wish to dine with us and we will honour those forward bookings, albeit with constant updates from Government and Health organisations this may change. We will, as always, maintain impeccable levels of hygiene throughout to ensure the staff and guests remain as safe as possible. We ask that those who don’t feel well stay away, as we will be here when all this comes to end.
